Chad E. Kennedy, Ph.D. - President
and CEO
Dr. Kennedy has over ten years of scientific
and engineering experience. He currently serves as a lecturer and Bioengineering
Research Faculty for Arizona State University. He has worked as a high-tech
consultant for VI Technology, Inc, a Silicon Valley based start-up and
has worked as a project engineer for NASA. Dr. Kennedy completed a B.S.
in Mechanical Engineering in 1995 from the University of Texas at Austin.
In 2001 he earned an M.S. in Bioengineering from Arizona State University
and completed a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Arizona State University
in 2003.
Stephen P. Massia, Ph.D. - Chief
Technology Officer
Dr. Massia has over 22 years of experience
in advanced biomaterials. He currently serves as Associate Professor of
Bioengineering at Arizona State University. Prior to his work at ASU he
has held positions at Clemson University and The University of Arizona
College of Medicine. Dr. Massia has numerous scientific publications and
serves as an NIH academic and SBIR peer reviewer. Dr. Massia earned a
B.S. in Biology from Southwestern University in 1981 and a Ph.D. in Biological
Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992.
Jeffrey P. Bade, M.S. - Chief Operating
Officer
Mr. Bade has over ten years experience in
engineering and management. Most recently he served as a capital projects
manager for ST Microelectronics, Inc in Phoenix, Arizona managing several
multi-million dollar projects. He has also worked in product development
engineering for Motorola Physical Sciences Research Labs and served as
a research assistant with Arizona State University. Mr. Bade earned a
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 1995 and
an M.S. in Bioengineering from Arizona State University in 2000.
Gholamreza Ehteshami, Ph.D. - V.P.
of Research & Development
Dr. Ehteshami has over 29 years of engineering
research and management experience. He has served as plant manager at
the National Chemical and Petrochemical Company and has held positions
with Oregon State University, The University of Arizona and Arizona State
University. He has several scientific publications and is an expert in
bioactive coatings and biopolymer synthesis. Dr. Ehteshami earned a B.S.
from Tehran University in 1973 and received his Ph.D. from The University
of Arizona in 1995. |
